Today’s quote of the day comes from Robert Frost: Happiness makes up in height for what it lacks in length.
Happiness is often perceived as a quick, fleeting feeling but while it may not last forever, that doesn’t make it any less meaningful. Happiness makes up in intensity what it lacks in duration; it can be greatly profound and powerful despite being shorter in length.
Each moment of joy is its own unique experience, offering the opportunity to blissfully stop time and make the most of that moment before moving onto the next one. Life’s precious moments will sometimes pass by quickly, but taking pleasure in each one allows us to appreciate happiness for all that it is worth.
